Hi, I’m Jess.
I’m an Experience Designer and Strategist with 7 years of Service Design experience coming from a background in nonprofits, government, and higher ed. As a Library Technology Manager, I began to incorporate UX principles into library services, where I realized the transformative impact that experience design and accessibility can have for underserved groups.
I am skilled at synthesizing qualitative and quantitative research into an actionable vision, then translating it into wireframes and prototypes. I love tackling complex problems that require big-picture solutions, even if it takes me into unknown territory. My favorite part of the process is observing a real sigh of relief when someone’s problem is fixed and realizing that I’ve been part of the solution.
